In May 2021, the DIS launched the virtual practice lab 2018 DIS Arbitration Rules Clinic, which has now delivered further very interesting results.
The sub-group "Technology" submitted the final report of its work to the DIS a few days ago, which is now accessible on the DIS website, as well as a short presentation summarizing the key findings of the group. The group has worked for more than two years in a very interactive manner in various round-table formats and provided specific suggestions to the DIS, but also to all other stakeholders in arbitration proceedings to enhance the use of modern technology in arbitration.
The practice group technology was headed by Thomas Riehm (Passau University), Felix Dörfelt (Addleshaw Goddard) and Paul Hauser (Clifford Chance).
