Dear members, colleagues and friends,
The year is coming to an end - a good moment to pause and look back on the past months. In New York, Singapore, Vaduz and here in Berlin, at the successful FDI Moot Conference, we promoted international dialogue and further increased the visibility of the DIS in global arbitration.
There was also a lot going on at the national level: in particular, our newly established regional groups were incredibly active and enjoy great popularity. I am personally very pleased that this new format has been so well received and that our arbitration community is so vibrant and diverse - a sign that together we are on the right track.
And the year is not over yet! Exciting events are on the horizon and the secretariat will remain busy until the end of the year. At the same time, the festive season offers a chance to slow down and enjoy moments together with family and friends over a cup of mulled wine at a Christmas market.
I wish you a wonderful advent season, lots of warmth and joy, and I look forward to starting a successful New Year with you.
