This year, for the first time, the DIS participated in the Bonner Firmenlauf. The Firmenlauf is an annual run held in the picturesque park Rheinaue, serving as an ideal team-building activity. The motto "Run as you are" or "Loof wie de bess" encourages participants to run at their own pace.
The Firmenlauf supports the Mukoviszidose e.V. and Care Deutschland e.V., which are two charities based in Bonn.
This year, there were 10,588 participants from 361 companies. The DIS was amongst them, represented by seven enthusiastic runners in white DIS sport shirts. During the run, they were cheered on by supportive colleagues holding up handmade posters. The sun was shining brightly making the event even more delightful.
