We, Kathrin Asschenfeldt and David Tebel, as co-chairs of the DIS Industry Group Technology, are very much looking forward to hosting the first event of the DIS Technology Group.
We are very happy to have three exciting speakers with us for this event: Aija Lejniece, Independent Legal Counsel and Arbitrator based in Paris with experience in crypto disputes and a keen interest in AI; Christoph Gramlich-Altenburg, Head of Legal Telecom Infrastructure at VINCI Energies/Axians based in Frankfurt, and Eric Leikin, Partner at Freshfields with broad experience in disputes in the technology sector based in Vienna.
Together, we will discuss the multi-faceted notion of “Technology Disputes” and shed light on, in particular, the following questions: Within the broad field of technology disputes, what commonalities and distinctive characteristics? What is required to resolve these disputes effectively and efficiently? Does arbitration have what it takes to do so?
We are looking forward to a lively discussion, which will be followed by a joint breakfast with the opportunity to further network with colleagues.
