Arbitration experience
Jan has worked on over 100 disputes, including more than 30 arbitrations, across a broad range of sectors including in the financial, insurance and construction industries. Jan regularly acts in post-M&A and warranty and indemnity insurance disputes, financial industry and restructuring disputes, as well as in professional and management liability disputes. • Several ICC arbitrations regarding warranty claims in the engineering and construction industry; • DIS arbitration regarding payment claims in the telecommunications industry; • Ad hoc arbitration regarding claims for commission in the automotive industry; • ICC arbitration regarding damage claims in the automotive industry; • Ad hoc arbitration regarding a hotel lease agreement; • ICC arbitration regarding warranty claims in the aviation industry; • Several recognition and enforcement proceedings for domestic and international arbitral awards; • DIS arbitration regarding the lease agreement of a car dealer (co-arbitrator) International ad-hoc arbitration regarding claims under a technology transfer agreement (co-arbitrator); and • DIS arbitration regarding compensation claims of a former managing director (chairman).
