On 20 February, a delegation from Peking University Law School (PKU) visited the German Arbitration Institute (DIS), part of a training programme organised by the German-Chinese Business Association (DCW). The delegation engaged in an intensive exchange on the topic of arbitration proceedings from German, Chinese and international perspectives.
Ramona Schardt presented the DIS and its role in an international context. Stefan Kröll offered an insight into the latest developments in German arbitration law. Joachim Glatter introduced the Deutsch-Chinesische Juristenvereinigung and offered insights into the association's numerous activities. The Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) presented its work and the possibilities of becoming a member of the BAC Arbitrator Board.
