The previous three-country conference will be organised as a four-country conference this year: in addition to Austria (with Arb|Aut and VIAC), Switzerland (ASA and Swiss Arbitration Centre) and Liechtenstein (LIS), the DIS is now also one of the organisers. At the same time, we are following up on the successful German-Swiss event on the "Common Arbitration Culture in the DACH Region", which took place in Basel last November.
After an opening lecture on conflict of laws enigmas in arbitration, the programme includes three panels: the first is entitled "Modernising German Arbitration Law - What do our friends advise us to do?", the second deals with corporate disputes and the third with jurisdictional decisions. Each topic will be discussed from the perspective of the four jurisdictions.
