What is your role at the DIS?

I am the finance coordinator at DIS. My tasks at DIS include providing management with an overview of the financial situation and establishing and monitoring optimizations and innovations in the future direction.

What path led you to the DIS?

After a classic training as a tax clerk, a twelve-year career followed at smaller and larger international law firms, e.g. Roever Broenner Susat Mazars (now Forvis Mazars).

The subsequent employment in the start-up sector strengthened my desire to support and advance the idea of ​​efficiency with innovations in both the technical and organizational areas.

I hope that with my expertise I can support the DIS both in the area of ​​tax law and also help advance the existing idea of ​​innovation.

What do you particularly appreciate about your work?

I was welcomed not only professionally but also very friendly. The willingness to support one another, especially during the induction phase, is an important building block for an efficient and long-term relationship with a company.

What motivates you?

Last but not least, the introduction of further requirements and obligations in the tax and administrative law areas is placing increasing demands on companies. My greatest motivation is to enable companies to concentrate on their core business instead of these external influences and to also give them security through financial planning.

How would you describe the DIS in three key words?

organized, professional, commitment

Tell us a fun fact we should know about you?

A few years ago, my reaction to receiving socks as a birthday present was "If only they were colored..." Since then, I have regularly received colorful socks and ones with motifs as gifts; now I am happy about every additional pair and hardly have any others.
