13 February 2025, Frankfurt

The DIS Technology Group chaired by Kathrin Asschenfeldt and David Tebel is delighted to invite all interested practitioners to its Kick-Off Event.

Under the heading “Defining Technology Disputes” the three speakers Aija Lejniece (Independent Legal Counsel and Arbitrator based in Paris with experience in crypto disputes and a keen interest in AI), Christoph Gramlich-Altenburg (Head of Legal Telecom Infrastructure at VINCI Energies / Axians based in Frankfurt) and Eric Leikin (Partner at Freshfields with broad experience in disputes in the technology sector based in Vienna) will lead a discussion looking at the topic of “Defining Technology Disputes”. They will focus on three key questions:

  • Within the field of technology disputes, what are commonalities and distinctive characteristics?
  • What is required to resolve these disputes effectively and efficiently?
  • Is arbitration suited to do so?

The discussion will be followed by a breakfast with the opportunity to further network with colleagues. Baker McKenzie has kindly sponsored this event.
