Hic sunt dracones? With these words medieval cartographers allegedly marked unexplored territories. Fantastic beasts were to be found there, but also corresponding dangers.
When looking at a world map of arbitration, one may get the impression that the area of Europe's largest economy bears this hallmark. While Paris and London are explored seats, less is known outside of Germany about arbitration in Germany.
The DIS Autumn Conference 2023 intends to look at international arbitration in the 21st century and shed light on some of the most prevalent myths with a view to Germany. It will also look at the plans for a new German arbitration law - the first update after 25 years.
