On the Weekend 24 to 26 March 2023 the XV Belgrade Pre-Moot took place in the wonderful city of Belgrade. The event is one of the biggest Pre-Moots and has been supported by DIS for many years. More than 70 teams from over 25 countries participated in the event to prepare for the final Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court in Vienna and to network internationally. The Belgrade Pre-Moot was preceded by the Belgrade Arbitration Conference gathering renowned arbitration experts in the field of arbitration from various countries. Stefan Kröll, Chairman of the DIS Board rounded off the conference with a captivating Keynote Speech on "Efficiency in Arbitration" a topic the DIS feels very much connected to. Efficiency is key under the Arbitration Rules of the DIS and particularly foreseen in its section 27 and its annexes.
