What is your role at the DIS?

I am a Case Administrator at the DIS, working within the Case Management Team.

What path led you to the DIS?

After earning my Abitur Diploma from a German School in Cairo, my hometown, I decided to move to Bonn to pursue a Bachelor of Laws in Law and Economics from the University of Bonn.

Through my internships at law firms, I was introduced to the field of arbitration and was intrigued by the customizable nature of this route for dispute resolution, specifically by how well it aligns with our increasingly globalized and specialized world. So, when I learned about a job opening at the DIS shortly after obtaining my degree, I was excited to apply.

What do you particularly appreciate about your work?

I appreciate the chance to refine my eye for detail and organizational skills through managing a mix of cases.

What motivates you?

Development and growth.

How would you describe the DIS in three key words?

Friendly, efficient, dedicated.

Tell us a fun fact we should know about you?

I have a 500-day Duolingo streak, which I am very proud of.
