9-12 September 2024, Berlin

The largest-ever Berlin Dispute Resolution Days will take place from 9 to 12 September 2024, with new institutions behind the event series and a record number of events over four days.

We are delighted the German Federal Ministry of Justice has joined Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin with its IDR LL.M. program and DIS as the third institution behind the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days. We trust that the addition of the German Federal Ministry of Justice will further contribute to the success of the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days.

As part of the 2024 Berlin Dispute Resolution Days, around 30 events have already been published in the event calendar on the website. These events include the DIS Autumn Conference on innovation in arbitration, the Karl-Heinz Böckstiegel Lecture delivered by Lucy Reed on modern mass claims, a Conference by the German Ministry of Justice on its initiatives to promote dispute resolution in Germany and the Humboldt Dispute Resolution Conference. Several side events, focused on specific industries, developments and countries, will complete the schedule.

Parties interested in setting up side events may contact the Organising Committee of the 2024 Berlin Dispute Resolution Days, consisting of Jennifer Bryant, Alessandro Covi, Richard Happ, Courtney Lotfi and Alicja Zielińska-Eisen, via berlindays(at)no_spamdisarb.org. We thank the Organising Committee for their engagement to bring about another successful edition of the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days.

We regret that Laura Halonen will not be part of the 2024 Organising Committee. We thank her for her dedication and her contributions to make the Berlin Days what they have become over the last two years.

All events of the Berlin Dispute Resolution Days are published in the calendar on the website.
