The German Arbitration Institute (DIS) has been nominated for the "GAR Award for Greener Arbitration" in recognition of its efforts to make arbitration more sustainable, in particular by promoting environmentally friendly travel to the DIS Autumn Conference 2023 by Deutsche Bahn at reduced rates.
In addition to working with Deutsche Bahn, the DIS has also contributed to sustainability by offsetting CO2 emissions and largely eliminating printed materials. This nomination underlines the DIS's ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability in arbitration.
We are pleased that our efforts have been recognised by the public through this nomination. By signing the Campaign for Greener Arbitration last year, we reaffirmed our commitment to making a positive difference. We are implementing this not only at DIS events, but in all areas of our work.
