The 7th Hamburg International Arbitration Days will take place from 27 to 29 March 2023 including an event with the new DIS Secretary General Dr. Ramona Schardt. Bucerius Law School, CAM-CCBC. Hamburg Arbitration Circle and Rechtsstandort Hamburg have partnered to create a series of events: The programme includes the 6th Luther Dispute Resolution Lecture, the 7th Bucerius HIAD Conference and the CAM-CCBC Hamburg Pre-Moot, which has become one of the most international Pre-Moots in Germany.
This year’s Luther Lecture deals with Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and the question of reparation from an international legal perspective. The lecture will be delivered by Germany’s leading expert in international criminal law, Professor Claus Kreß, University of Cologne.

In a satellite event taking place in the morning at the offices of the law firm Taylor Wessing Dr. Ramona Schardt will talk about the DIS and her new role as Secretary General. Further Information will follow soon.
That is followed by a guided tour through the Elbphilharmonie.
In the afternoon the Bucerius HIAD Conference focusses on arbitration with state-parties. Leading international experts discuss salient topics associated with such proceedings – from the frequently raised immunity issues to procedural, material and practical considerations. A Networking Dinner in Hamburg’s historic Speicherstadt, receptions and numerous satellite events complete the schedule of the Hamburg International Arbitration Days.

The CAM-CCBC Hanse Pre-Moot will take place in the offices of the Hamburg Arbitration Law firm with 32 teams from all over the world. Applications to participate as arbitrator can be submitted here.
