We are excited to share the success of our first DIS Clothing Swap Party held on 26 September 2024 in our beautiful villa! This event was a fantastic opportunity for the staff of the Secretariat to step outside their usual administrative roles in dispute resolution and actively contribute to sustainability not only in arbitration but also on a personal level.
The participants brought a variety of gently used clothing items to swap, creating a vibrant atmosphere of sharing and fun. Not only did we refresh our wardrobes, but we also embraced the spirit of conscious consumerism, making a meaningful impact by reducing textile waste. It was rewarding to see the team come together to celebrate sustainable practices, give pre-loved items a new lease of life and to grab some homemade food and drinks.
It was a wonderful reminder that even small actions can lead to significant change. We believe that initiatives like the Clothing Swap Party help foster a strong sense of community within the staff while promoting environmental responsibility.
