Arbitration experience
Lucie Gerhardt's practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration, particularly in the pharmaceutical and renewable energy sectors. She represents German and international clients in post-M&A, corporate and contract disputes and is also skilled in large-scale construction cases. The regional focus of her arbitration practice includes Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Lucie Gerhardt acts as counsel in institutional arbitrations (e.g. DIS, ICC, ICSID, SCC, UNCITRAL) as well as in ad hoc arbitrations, including expedited proceedings. She assists clients with the recognition and enforcement of domestic and foreign arbitral awards and has handled numerous arbitrator challenges before German courts. Lucie Gerhardt regularly acts as arbitrator in commercial arbitrations with particular experience in contract disputes, damages claims and trade law. She has conducted a large number of evidentiary hearings (in person, remote and hybrid).
