Lunch DIScussions: Post-M&A Disputes – Delivering Deal Value through Financial Disputes

DIS-Event

13. Mar 2025

Organizer: DIS

Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are strategic transactions that can offer immense value to businesses. However, sometimes, once the euphoria of the closing campaign has been overcome, disappointment spreads, as the acquired assets do not seem to keep their promise, or the purchase price does not correspond to the value of the sold target. In these cases, post-M&A disputes may help to give the parties what they had bargained for. While post-M&A disputes may be caused by many different factors and circumstances and may be based on a variety of contract clauses and legal provisions, most of them have in common that they impact – directly or indirectly – the value of the target.

Together with our expert panel, we will examine how post-M&A disputes and stakeholders can contribute to deliver deal value from multiple perspectives, including those of a legal counsel, an accounting expert, and an arbitrator.
