The German Arbitration Institute (DIS – Deutsche Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit e.V.), Germany’s leading arbitration institution since 1920, is coming to Athens for an event offering practical learning and networking with professionals from Greece and beyond. Heads of corporate and State legal departments, partners of major Greek law firms involved in international commercial arbitration and other stakeholders will be invited to the event.

The programme of the event features:

  • an introduction of the DIS, the DIS Arbitration Rules and the DIS Case Management;
  • an overview of the advantages of Germany as place for arbitration and
  • a discussion with arbitration practitioners exploring the mechanisms in the DIS Arbitration Rules designed to improve the efficiency of arbitration.
