The German Arbitration Institute (DIS) has since long offered rules for the entire tool box of dispute resolution. In particular, the DIS was the first institution which had developed independent Conflict Management Rules which have just seen their first application. Its rules on expert determination and adjudication have played an important role in the creation of the lasted UNCITRAL initiatives in the field.
