As previously announced, here comes the invitation to the DIS Berlin Regional Group’s Summer Picnic.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to repeat the 2016 Tiergarten gathering as originally planned, because the area has restricted access during the Euro 2024. But we have found an excellent alternative: the newly opened Hegelplatz with a brand-new lawn and a brand-new ping-pong table!
Join us for drinks and snacks and - who knows - an open ping-pong tournament. Above all, we would like to discuss with you what we want to put together over the next three years as the Berlin group. Is there anything particular we want to focus on, and if so, what? The rough plan is to have around three events a year to promote exchange in the region and beyond. We can certainly seek inspiration from Alexander Steinbrecher who has kindly offered to give a little key note on his 10 golden rules for disputes from an in-house perspective.
It is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring your kids. As Hegel famously said, "Das Wahre ist das Ganze"—“the true is the whole,” and we believe that bringing our community together strengthens our collective knowledge and camaraderie. This concept reminds us that our work as dispute resolution experts does not exist in isolation; it must be seen as part of an interconnected whole, both on a professional and personal level as we try to find the work-life balance. In that spirit, let’s come together to share experiences, exchange ideas, and connect with our vibrant community.
