In May 2024, the Bilateral Italian-German Arbitration Group will convene for its third gathering, this time in Berlin at Freie Universität Berlin. This half-day conference will be held on 23 May 2024 from 4.00-8.30 CEST under the overarching theme “Arbitration in Germany and Italy—Recent Developments” and is organized jointly with the Italienzentrum at Freie Universität Berlin. Our generous host will be Christian Armbrüster (Freie Universität Berlin).
For this occasion, the group has assembled a stellar lineup of speakers, including David Quinke (Gleiss Lutz), Ramona Schardt (Secretary General of the DIS), Pauline Walde (Ashurst), Christoph Benedict (Watson Farley & Williams), Lotario Dittrich (Studio Legale Dittrich), Irene Petrelli (Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle), Michele Curatola (Clifford Chance), Torsten Lörcher (CMS), Federica Bocci (DLA Piper), Benedetta Coppo (CAM), Sarah Böck (Paragon Advocacy), Nadja Al Kanawati (WilmerHale), Wolfram Buchwitz (Universität Würzburg), Fabio Santacroce (ArbLit), Vincent Wächter (Federal Ministry of Justice) and Jakob Horn (Taylor Wessing).
The two main panels will feature a keynote to be followed by an in-depth panel discussion.
