After more than 34 years with an international law firm (equity partner) where he, inter alia, led the firm´s German litigation and arbitration practice, Mark formed his own firm Hilgard-Law in Frankfurt am Main, a law firm specialized in national and international arbitration

• Practicing in many areas of law. For many years head of the litigation and arbitration practice of a major international law firm in Germany. Extensive experience in both national and international litigation and arbitration (ICC, DIS, UINCITRAL, ad hoc etc.).
• In arbitral matters Mark sits as arbitrator (Chairman or party-appointed Co-arbitrator) and also represents parties before arbitral tribunals. Due to his heavy involvement in international activities many of his proceedings have an international aspect; a significant number of proceedings is conducted in the English language.

Chairman and party appointed co-arbitrator as well as party representative in numerous arbitral proceedings (mainly ICC, DIS, UNCITRAL and ad-hoc proceedings) with emphasis on the areas described above.
