Together with the publisher C. H. Beck, the DIS once again organises the Petersberger Schiedstage. In 2024, they will focus on the topic of "Arbitration in times of war and crises". It seems as if the world can no longer get out of crisis mode.
There is much talk of a "turning point". The current challenges are overwhelming and do not leave arbitration untouched. At the upcoming Petersberger Schiedstage, we therefore want to show how war and crisis affect arbitration with a particular view on consequences of economic sanctions. However, we also want to show what arbitration can do to prevent war and crises and what a world after war and crisis might look like.
